Due Diligence Documentation "Exhibit E-2"
Site, Survey & Civil Engineering
Personal Resumes
The following notes
are provided pertaining to this exhibit:
-
What: civil
engineering, site planning and surveying services are all provided by
qualified, licensed professionals and due diligence must be exercised
regarding the experience and expertise of the proposed personnel.
-
When: during
the pre-construction phase in concert with the submissions of firm profiles
for these services.
-
Why: licensed
personnel provide these services and these services have the potential to
have a large impact on the timing of the project's development and the
development costs. Accordingly, the Developer must also exercise due
diligence in the selection process.
-
Where: these
services are provided off site and are under the supervision of the
Design/Builder.
-
How: review
of resumes and contact with previous employers and/or clients to determine
the potential service capacity each professional can demonstrate.
-
What's important: selecting
qualified personnel goes beyond the consulting firm's firm profile.
Individual engineering team members must also be vetted.
-
For projects that
do not envision any new construction activities, this exhibit is not
required.
